About

BIO

Emily McPhee is an artist and educator. She draws from her lifelong connection to the natural world as inspiration for her work. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University and currently lives in Ontario, Canada.

Her paintings examine the innate connection and/or lack of connection humans have with nature. She works primarily with watercolour, using the immediacy of the medium to explore the fleeting aspect of our world and the human experience.
